For readers outside of Canada, I’ll set the back story. Canada has a rule that allows importation of cars from other countries as long as it’s older then 15 years and meets certain regulations. Most of these imports are coming from Japan, and have a right hand drive (RHD). Since the government doesn’t like this (so it seems), they have been pushing to ban all RHD cars because they could be “potentially hazardous”. Really? Although I heard rumors, I’m surprised this actually passed. Has anyone ever considered this to be a problem? Read more here and shake your head with me.
