Japanese Nostaligic Car made an awesome post about the Shuto Expressway in Japan last week. For those not familiar about the Shuto Expressway, it is a group of various routes to help ease the traffic congestion. Many of these routes are multi leveled and often snake in and out of landscape. The most famous section, the Bayshore route is well known simply as “Wangan” and was heavily popularized by both the manga “Wagan Midnight” and the game “Tokyo Extreme Racer” (one of my favorite games on the Dreamcast by the way).
