There is nothing like a modern take on a legendary design. If your a fan of Mercedes vehicles then your more then likely to know about the 300SL, a powerful grand touring car that was known for it’s iconic gull wing doors. After ceasing production, Mercedes never really created a spiritual successor to the 300SL until recently, lucky me I was in the right spot at the right time.
Having just recently started working for Garage Works I had a chance to shoot this lovely car at a dealership, unfortunately, I was still rather new at photography so I wasn’t really prepared to shoot the car. If you remember way back when, I actually posted a teaser of the car – well now I’m showing all of the pictures.

The rear of the SLS reminds of shapes found in the 1950′s while the front is aggressive and modern.
