Being a part time web designer I’m constantly trying out the newest techniques to help users enjoy their web browsing experience. It has always been a goal of mine to make my visitors experience enjoyable and make the buying process easy. This latest update focuses on just that!
While the front page, blog and downloads page hasn’t changed much, the shop, individual item pages and shopping cart have been revamped. The shop and individual item pages now focus on what is important – the product itself. New items will now have larger photos so that customers can view these items in detail before making a decision. The cart has been updated so that customers no longer have to select a country to estimate shipping costs – I do that for you. I also changed the way the cart checks out, we now use Paypal’s express checkout which gives Import Bible the opportunity to introduce promo/coupon codes in the near future.
Lastly, the biggest change will be shipping costs. After research and testing I have revised the shipping costs for orders, packages with more then 2 shirts will be much cheaper now. Below is a table of the revamped shipping prices.
Changes will be made during the week to make sure all of the bugs are ironed out, expect some additional features to be added to the site in the near future!
