In grand fashion, Polyphony released sparse details about their latest iteration of Gran Turismo slated for the holiday season this year. As you would expect, Gran Turismo 6 will build on Gran Turismo 5 by adding new tracks and cars to its extensive line up. The biggest overhaul will be its new physics engine and after market upgrades for vehicles in-game.

Oh Lamborghini, how I love you oh so much. While many brands have focused on producing civil cars, you’ve been busy making noise with your crazy hyper cars. Lamborghini built their latest machine, the Egoista, to celebrate their 50th birthday. Gone are the traditional vertical doors, instead a jet fighter inspire cockpit is the center piece. The jet fighter inspiration can be see throughout the entire car especially in the interior design.

XCAR checks out Revolution, a shop in a UK to check out their project STi. At first glance it looks like any normal Impreza but you’ll notice that it only has 2 doors and much wider then a standard Impreza. The project was created to celebrate Revolution’s 15 years anniversary, with the final of goal of being fastest Subaru around the Nurburging. Tommi Makinen set the original record back in 2010 for Subaru Japan in a Subaru STi Spec C.

Red Bull releases another crazy video featuring Formula Drift driver Mad Mike and his 4 rotor Mazda RX7 drifting the Crown Range in New Zealand. The Crown Range is 10.4 kilometers long, has 47 corners and is the country’s highest paved road.

After a brief break Matt Farah of Tuned returns, this time around Matt drive BBi Autosport’s first air-cooled 911 project car. Based on the classic 1980′s Porsche 911 Carrera platform, little was left stock on the vehicle as you would imagine with a mix of modern parts and older parts from different platforms.

Inspired by the Porsche 356, the Porsche 550 is a race oriented spyder that was first introduced at the Paris Auto Show. Famous for its low stance and lightweight it was nick named the “Giant Killer”, actor James Dean was one of the first owners of the car and fatally crashed his. Addictive Studios, an agency from London, UK recreated the famous car in 3D and perched on a roof top. Originally a concept for a Beetle advert, the agency created a mock photoshoot with the car showing off the insane detail of the interior and exterior of the model.

Seeing as a screwdriver is the tool of choice for car thieves he wanted to see if he could frankenstein something together without messing up his key barrel.

XCAR releases a new video in the same theme as the 370Z vs 240Z I posted earlier in the month. This time around, XCAR pits the legendary BMW E30 M3 against its newest successor the BMW E92 M3 GTS. We find out just how well the aging E30 stands up against the powerful and technical E92 on a test ride.

Watch manufacture Hublot teams up with Ferrari to create an advanced watch to celebrate Ferrari’s new LaFerrari. Titled the Mp-05 LaFerrari, the watch is limited to just 50 units with the price just shy of $300,000. The watch is constructed with a combination of titanium and rubber parts. Winding and setting the watch takes a bit of effort with the use of a special tool supplied by Hublot.

Check out this great video detailing a shops pursuit to beat the world record for world’s fastest 10.5 import. E.Kanoo Racing team of 25 people worked tirelessly to prep their Supra to take down the world record time of 6:25. I wasn’t able to find very much info about the car but apparently it uses a standard 2JZ block and uses 3/4 of the original chassis.
