On the latest Australia’s Got Talent 2012 Audition,a fellow by the name of Daniel surprised judges with his accurate rendition of popular cars. Daniel was able to make the sounds of a Red Bull F1 car, a Mazda RX-3 and a Holden v8 Torana with just his mouth. Not your typical cars, but Daniel did a fine job reproducing the minute differences of each car.

Time sure flies, this year the Audi R8 celebrates its fifth year in production. It wasn’t that long ago that Audi entered the super car market with its original V8 R8, even till this day the body lines of the R8 look fresh. After 6 models, is Audi finally ready to release a successor to the famed car?

Meet the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 a highly modified GT-R spec’d out to meet FIA’s GT3 regulations. The GT-R is powered by a 3.8 liter V6 twin turbo engine based on the standard road version. Apparently the vehicle was designed with customers in mind…that’s right you can actually buy one for a cool 297,000 euros.

Another day another Lego model. This time we have a pretty damn impressive 1:15 scale model of the Back to the Future DMC DeLorean. Much like the Honda RA272 model, this model focuses on creating an accurate representation rather than a functional one. Looking bad ass in hover mode! Pictures after the jump.

During the unveiling of the GT-86 at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show Toyota design chief Dezi Nagaya filmed a detail behind the scenes about designing the GT-86. The video is split into four parts: 2000GT heritage, exterior design, interior design and the 86 logo. Chief engineer Tetsuya Tada also give viewers an exclusive interview about the upcoming car.

I guess superheros aren’t immune to traffic laws after all, cops pulled over Batman last week for driving his Lamborghini Gallardo with no plates (well actually a Batman logo). The cops were a bit confused and worried when they saw Batman was the driver, apparently he was on his way to a children’s hospital for an appearance. Nice to see rich guys having fun!

Well it didn’t take long before for enthusiasts to tear a part the 86 and change it up! Dino Dalle Carbonare/Luke Huxham was able to get some footage of Manabu Orido’s freshly modded Toyota 86 at Mobarar circuit. As you can see the 86 is now powered by a V8 from a Lexus IS-F.

In an attempt to break the world record for most cars doing donuts simultaneously, 75 cars banded together at Infineon raceway and made their tires cry for mercy. Surprisingly the record was achieved without any causalities!

Check out this life like recreation of the Honda RA272, a F1 race car from the 1960′s that took home the first victory by a Japanese manufacture. Unlike sophisticated Lego cars I’ve posted before, this model focuses on the signature look of the unique vehicle. The designer did an amazing job!

Weighing in at only 2,150 lbs, the Lotus packs a rally inspired twin charged 1.8 liter engine that produces 680 horsepower. Unlike other shops that produce high powered cars, this Lotus was produced in a small shop in California.
