The S30 paper model contest finally wrapped up last night, although it started very slowly entries quickly picked up near the deadline. I’m very happy with the entries I received and would like to thank everyone who took the time to complete (or attempted to complete) the model. I’ve received some really unique entries and I hope everyone enjoys them! Voting ends on February 15th and the winners will be contacted afterwards.

The sticker section of our shop is finally getting some much-needed attention, after my original circle logo stickers sold out I ordered up a couple of new stickers to take its place. First up is the Weights sticker pack, originally featured on the Slow Down shirt but I thought it would be just as good in sticker form. We’ve restocked the original circle logo design since it’s a staple but also included a new inverted design in red. Hope everyone enjoys the new stickers!

So while testing out some websites on Internet Explorer 7/8 at work, I thought I would check out my site to see how bad it would look. To my dismay I discovered that my site crashes Internet Explorer 7/8 instantly, as you could imagine that’s pretty bad. Last night I hammered away at the site fixing most of the bugs and a few other things. I apologize for the mishap! To make up I’ve included coupons in the post.

It’s finally here, we’ve added four new shirts to the Series 5 line up. Unlike the first set of shirts we released, these four designs return to our original style of car inspired tees. Three brand new designs focus on cars we’ve always wanted to do shirts of, RPS13 (one of the first shirts we’ve made), R34 and the GD8. The Rim to Rim design finally returns with five more rims totaling thirty four all together. Hope everyone enjoys the new designs!

It doesn’t feel that long ago from my last site update, hell it wasn’t…but I felt that the website needed an overhaul big time. As with every update I focused on making everything better (whatever that means), I made tons of small changes to speed up the site and made a few user interface changes. Since I rarely have time to sit down and code my heart away, this Christmas break felt like a good time to push out an update.

With the release of my S30 paper model I am also announcing a new contest. As you can guess, to enter contestants will have to finish the paper model and modify it. Fans can send pictures of their S30 model to Import Bible after which a public vote will determine a winner. First place will receive one of each shirt from my upcoming Series 5 release, runner ups will win one shirt or lanyard.

After an exhausting couple of months of on and off work, my paper model project is finally complete. The S30 is one of my all time favorite cars and it’s only fitting that I build a model based on it. This model isn’t for everyone, in fact I think it’s pretty damn tedious. If you do decided to take on this project make sure to print off the template on card stock or heavy weight paper. I recommend using white glue to attach the pieces together. All Raw (blue) shirts have been shipped as of today. Every time I run a group buy it seems like either the printing process or shipping gets delayed. Again I apologize to the customers who have patiently waited for their orders, to make up for it I included a small gift. Anyways if you missed out on the original group buy I do have a limited supply of extra shirts but they won’t last long.

After years of hard work I’m finally happy with the progress I’ve made with Import Bible. In 2011 I was able to sell nearly as many shirts as the past 4 years COMBINED! No small feat, but it wasn’t possible without my awesome customers. Lately I’ve gotten great feedback and comments from my customers around the world and it really blows my mind that someone half way across the world is sporting one of my products. While making my usual rounds on JDMST I came across these great pictures of one of my customers sporting a Deep Dish shirt, lanyard and stickers at the All Japan Day car show. AJD is a small car show that has been around for 3 years now and this year is the first time they’ve expanded to Sydney.
