Series 6 feat. Dannie Riel

With summer just around the corner now is the perfect time to release Series 6. Just like any other small business out there Import Bible has experienced highs and lows but this year has definitely been a high so far. Going hard at it I’ve decided to go all out on this series, releasing a total of 9 shirt designs, 2 sticker designs and some decals. As some of you might have guessed I’ve also teamed up with Dannie Riel to model my collection. Not bad!

I’ve wanted to do a film for a long time and since I had Dannie on board already I teamed up with TGK Films to shoot a “behind the scenes” video. My goal was to make something similar, if not better than what the bigger brands were putting out.

Dying Breed Shirt

The very first M3 was introduced in the mid 80′s and was based on the popular E30 chassis. As safety requirements changed the M3 has slowly grown from a lightweight sports coupe to a heavy luxury coupe. The E30 M3 is often regarded as one of the best driving cars till this day.

Feather Weight (White) Shirt

Loved by few and hated by many, the Miata is always a hot topic with enthusiasts. Few cars have continued the intentions of their predecessors like the Miata. Throughout the three generations, this classic roadster has stuck to the classic sports car recipe. With a simple goal of recreating the simple British roadster with the reliability of a Japanese car, the Miata is easily a lightweight powerhouse.

Go Hard (Gold) Shirt

Arguably one of the best chassis introduced to the evolution family. The CT9A was the base of the Lancer Evolution 7, 8, and 9. Gaining a tremendous following, due to its stellar performance both on and off the track. The Lancer Evolution 8 would also be the first time North America would meet the car.

Good Foot Shirt

Being one of the last Japanese sports cars in the 90′s, the Toyota Supra had a notorious reputation of getting its owners into trouble. The bulletproof engine allows many tuners to modify it to incredible levels. The result? Expensive tickets!

Grease Monkey (Blue) Shirt

For anyone who loves to work on anything mechanical, you have probably been referred to as a grease monkey. Nothing wrong with that! This shirt is for everyone who isn’t afraid to roll up his or her sleeves to get down and dirty.

Rim to Rim (GID) Shirt

This is a tribute to one of the most popular modifications purchased for a car. Not only does it change the aesthetics, but also agility of the vehicle. With hundreds of designers, car enthusiasts can choose from different styles, offsets, sizes, and colours to create their perfect look.

Glows in the dark!

Stacks Shirt

Japanese car companies were known for their cheap sport coupes, having less success in the luxury sport coupe segment especially in North America. However, the V35/G35 is one of the first luxury coupes that really took off with its voluptuous back end and signature exhaust note.

Wide Open Shirt

Known as a velocity stack, these trumpet shaped add-ons help draw air into the engine. While some may use velocity stacks in their streetcars they are commonly used for racing applications due to their distinctively loud noise. Stacks along with individual throttle bodies cannot be matched in terms of responsiveness.

Deep Dish Tank

Dedicated to enthusiasts who love the style and appeal of deep dish (distance between the lip and face of the rim). Wondering what the pack of smokes is for? Suitable for measuring how deep your dish is. They say the deeper the dish the deeper the pockets.

Club Sticker

Stickers have played an important role in car culture and are one of the most common ways to represent your club. Often containing Japanese script and engrish quotes, this sticker is inspired by the vibrant club stickers found in Japan. Minus the engrish we think this is a pretty badass tribute.

Rim to Rim iPhone 4/4S Cases restocked

Making the iPhone cases was a huge risk for me because I wasn’t certain that they would sell. The manufacturing costs were much higher than what I had anticipated, but I decided to take the plunge. It turns out that everyone loved the cases and they literally sold out in a week! Customers were demanding I restock them, I rarely would do such a thing but because of the high demand I’ve reprinted them. Head over to the page here to order one.

Throwback shirts

With the release of the new 86 I felt that it was only fitting that I release a t-shirt design for the new sports car. Leave it to Toyota to break out of its cycle of boring cars and revisit the entry level sports car segment. Words can’t express how I’m excited I am for the sports car, I’m hoping that it give a much needed boost to the import car scene.

First introduced as the FT-86, the 86 is Toyota’s long awaited return to the entry-level sports car segment. Jointly developed with Subaru, the 86 is the spiritual successor to the original Toyota Corolla (more commonly known as the AE86). Will we see more throwback models? Lets hope so.

Rim to Rim & Bathing Stig iPhone 4/4S cases

I’m working extra hard this year to release new type of products, these two iPhone cases are the first of the many products I have planned. Taking two of my most popular designs I have modified them to look great on an iPhone 4/4S case. They are now available in the shop here.

These cases are manufactured by Uncommon, an American based business that makes a great case. The designs are embed into the case itself so they will are resistant to fading, peeling and chipping. They will fit all current models of the iPhone 4 and 4S.

Weights sticker pack & restocked stickers

The sticker section of our shop is finally getting some much-needed attention, after my original circle logo stickers sold out I ordered up a couple of new stickers to take its place. First up is the Weights sticker pack, originally featured on the Slow Down shirt but I thought it would be just as good in sticker form. We’ve restocked the original circle logo design since it’s a staple but also included a new inverted design in red. Hope everyone enjoys the new stickers!

Series 5 update

It’s finally here, we’ve added four new shirts to the Series 5 line up. Unlike the first set of shirts we released, these four designs return to our original style of car inspired tees. Three brand new designs focus on cars we’ve always wanted to do shirts of, RPS13 (one of the first shirts we’ve made), R34 and the GD8. The Rim to Rim design finally returns with five more rims totaling thirty four all together. Hope everyone enjoys the new designs!

Forty Eighty

Known simply as the 240SX or the 180SX, it was the only time Nissan offered a S chassis in hatchback form (or what Nissan calls, Fastback). It wasn’t uncommon in the 90′s for enthusiasts to replace their battered front bumpers and with another S chassis front end. Creating unique vehicles like the Silforty and strawberry faces.

Slow Down

The Skyline name carries the tradition of dominating its competitors in any given race. The popular R34 continued this tradition when it entered in the JGTC series. Even when it was given heavy weight handicaps to even out the playing field.

Shooting Star

Japanese for the Pleiades star cluster, Subaru was once comprised of six different companies. The Impreza line has always been Subaru’s shining star, proving to be one of the most popular sports cars introduced.

All Raw (blue) shirts have been shipped as of today. Every time I run a group buy it seems like either the printing process or shipping gets delayed. Again I apologize to the customers who have patiently waited for their orders, to make up for it I included a small gift. Import Bible finally reached 1,000 likes on Facebook so in celebration I’m releasing 3 new products on our online shop. Both the Evo and Trouble Maker designs return in brand new colour options that I’m sure everyone will love. I know the sticker options have been a bit dated so I’m also introducing a new sticker design featuring the famous Sakura rims.

While the RS25 shirt group buy was happening several people asked that I print the shirt without the RS25 branding on the shirt, although I intended to open another group buy for the shirt I didn’t want to have the headache of keeping track of 2 separate orders. Instead I opted to print a small limited set of the Boxer (Black) shirts. I limited the production to only 30 shirts (3 shirts were damaged in the printing process). Because of the limited run the price is a bit higher than usual, but they also come with all of the stickers available from Import Bible. The shirt can be purchased here.
