I’ve wanted to do a film for a long time and since I had Dannie on board already I teamed up with TGK Films to shoot a “behind the scenes” video. My goal was to make something similar, if not better than what the bigger brands were putting out.

Dying Breed Shirt

The very first M3 was introduced in the mid 80′s and was based on the popular E30 chassis. As safety requirements changed the M3 has slowly grown from a lightweight sports coupe to a heavy luxury coupe. The E30 M3 is often regarded as one of the best driving cars till this day.

Feather Weight (White) Shirt

Loved by few and hated by many, the Miata is always a hot topic with enthusiasts. Few cars have continued the intentions of their predecessors like the Miata. Throughout the three generations, this classic roadster has stuck to the classic sports car recipe. With a simple goal of recreating the simple British roadster with the reliability of a Japanese car, the Miata is easily a lightweight powerhouse.

Go Hard (Gold) Shirt

Arguably one of the best chassis introduced to the evolution family. The CT9A was the base of the Lancer Evolution 7, 8, and 9. Gaining a tremendous following, due to its stellar performance both on and off the track. The Lancer Evolution 8 would also be the first time North America would meet the car.

Good Foot Shirt

Being one of the last Japanese sports cars in the 90′s, the Toyota Supra had a notorious reputation of getting its owners into trouble. The bulletproof engine allows many tuners to modify it to incredible levels. The result? Expensive tickets!

Grease Monkey (Blue) Shirt

For anyone who loves to work on anything mechanical, you have probably been referred to as a grease monkey. Nothing wrong with that! This shirt is for everyone who isn’t afraid to roll up his or her sleeves to get down and dirty.

Rim to Rim (GID) Shirt

This is a tribute to one of the most popular modifications purchased for a car. Not only does it change the aesthetics, but also agility of the vehicle. With hundreds of designers, car enthusiasts can choose from different styles, offsets, sizes, and colours to create their perfect look.

Glows in the dark!

Stacks Shirt

Japanese car companies were known for their cheap sport coupes, having less success in the luxury sport coupe segment especially in North America. However, the V35/G35 is one of the first luxury coupes that really took off with its voluptuous back end and signature exhaust note.

Wide Open Shirt

Known as a velocity stack, these trumpet shaped add-ons help draw air into the engine. While some may use velocity stacks in their streetcars they are commonly used for racing applications due to their distinctively loud noise. Stacks along with individual throttle bodies cannot be matched in terms of responsiveness.

Deep Dish Tank

Dedicated to enthusiasts who love the style and appeal of deep dish (distance between the lip and face of the rim). Wondering what the pack of smokes is for? Suitable for measuring how deep your dish is. They say the deeper the dish the deeper the pockets.

Club Sticker

Stickers have played an important role in car culture and are one of the most common ways to represent your club. Often containing Japanese script and engrish quotes, this sticker is inspired by the vibrant club stickers found in Japan. Minus the engrish we think this is a pretty badass tribute.

Forty Eighty

Known simply as the 240SX or the 180SX, it was the only time Nissan offered a S chassis in hatchback form (or what Nissan calls, Fastback). It wasn’t uncommon in the 90′s for enthusiasts to replace their battered front bumpers and with another S chassis front end. Creating unique vehicles like the Silforty and strawberry faces.

Slow Down

The Skyline name carries the tradition of dominating its competitors in any given race. The popular R34 continued this tradition when it entered in the JGTC series. Even when it was given heavy weight handicaps to even out the playing field.

Shooting Star

Japanese for the Pleiades star cluster, Subaru was once comprised of six different companies. The Impreza line has always been Subaru’s shining star, proving to be one of the most popular sports cars introduced.

For this series I decided to do something a bit different. It’s no secret that I love the street wear industry, many of my designs are inspired by the street wear scene. I decided that this series would have a shirt inspired by my all time favorite brands – sort of a tribute to them. As always thank you for the continued support and help spread the word!

All Time – Inspired by 10 Deep

One of the oldest street wear brands out there, 10 Deep continuously releases strong products season after season. What sets them apart are their strong graphic tees, original cut/sew pieces and catchy slogans. 10 Deep likes to create new original designs rather then recycle their past work, which keeps customers wanting more.

A recent obsession of many tuners, dropping the height of your car is a great way to improve not only performance but also the look. While most enthusiasts are content with a mild 2-inch drop, a select few are pushing the boundaries of how low you can go.

Bathing Stig – Inspired by A Bathing Ape

A Bathing Ape (BAPE for short) is known for being one of the most envied brands in the world with it’s ultra limited production runs, high prices and high profile collaborations. BAPE really set the standard for street wear companies with its funky/unorthodox designs and amazing storefronts. Their limited runs make the brand even more appealing since most of their stuff does not sit on the shelves for too long!

The mysterious test driver known for his amazing driving skills and his weird quirks makes another appearance on one of our shirts. Although the original driver was sacked, a newborn replacement was found to continue the legacy of the previous Stig.

Living Fast – Inspired by Diamond Supply Co.

Diamond Supply Co. is a California based skateboard accessory and apparel brand. Nick Diamond (the owner) is known for his great t-shirt designs that incorporate diamonds in ingenious ways. His creativity really captures what I love about design, as he likes to use different colours and textiles in his work.

Living the fast life has been a motto that many people live by. They say the fast life is all about money, girls and cars. Car enthusiasts are one of the few people that live it out in the literal sense.

MKV – Inspired by Obey

Obey is a street wear brand that was started by Shepard Fairey in 1989. What started off as a simple stencil, quickly turned into a full-fledged brand. The iconic image of Andre the Giant can be spotted in major cities across the United States.

The MK.V is the fifth generation model of the popular Golf. Some would say that the car has a cult like following, but there is no denying the MK.V enjoys a very active enthusiasts scene around the world. The combination of its agile handling, surprisingly fast speed and practicability makes it a very popular car.

Wack – Inspired by The Hundreds

The Hundreds is a brand based out of California, known for their laid-back style and strong graphics. The Hundreds is quickly turning into a power house with 4 stores and a long list of collaborations. One of my favorite things about the brand is the way they incorporate pop culture into their designs. In a way they are preserving the ideas that helped inspire them.

Fake parts are nothing new and its unfortunate that this industry has been around for years knocking off designs from the best in the industry. Lots of time and money is spent by these established brands to create the best products. It won’t be long until we lose these original companies, stop supporting fakes!

I’m releasing four new shirts featuring designs inspired by cars and car culture. Three of the shirts are new designs while one of them is a reprint. Unlike past seasons, I’m well ahead of schedule so there won’t be any delays for the new products. Old School
The AE86 is known for its rev happy engine and its balanced chassis. It gained reputation as a underdog in the drift scene; however the hit anime Initial D would help popularize this car. Although Toyota stopped producing cult classic cars, the AE86 still enjoys a strong following.

Grease Monkey
For anyone who loves to work on anything mechanical, you have probably been referred to as a grease monkey. Nothing wrong with that! This shirt is for everyone who isn’t afraid to roll up his or her sleeves to get down and dirty to get the job done.

Hat’s Off
One of the most memorable Japanese sports cars, the S30, was introduced to the world in the 70s. Costing less than other comparable sports cars, the S30 help broaden the market for Japanese manufactures. The S30 was given two different names depending on the market: the 240Z and the Fairlady Z. The Fairlady name came from the play “My Fair Lady”, Nissan wanted to associate the beauty of car with the leading lady.

G
VIP styled tuning is one of the newest and most popular trends from Japan, originating from Japanese gangsters who did not want to drive in high profile European cars. These gangsters began to modify less conspicuous Japanese sedans to stay under the radar from rivals and police. It didn’t take long before street racers and enthusiasts began to adopt the style. Modifications that are associated with VIP style are negative camber, lowering, dark tint, large rims and various luxurious accessories.

If you plan to purchase any of new shirts, keep in mind that there have been some changes in this collection. Inks are now water based so they’re now soft to the touch, tags are now printed on to the shirt and prices of new shirts will be increased by $2 because of higher production costs.
