Grand Theft Auto: RISE is a short live action video produced by Gevorg Karensky based on GTA. The video follows the birth of an underground hero, not you’re typical kind though. If you’re a fan of the game series you’ll quickly grasp the back story, if not just sit down and enjoy the video. Of course it also has a nice car chase with a BMW M3 in it.

Meet Alan Kempster a double amputee who lost both his right arm and right leg to a drunk driver during a motorcycle ride. Alan had dreams of racing his motorcycle but struggled to reach his goal. Race organizers weren’t sure what to think of Alan, but once Alan suited up and took first place in a race he proved he could ride with the best.

Huh? I guess bicycles are starting to get popular now since every car manufacture is releasing their own bicycle. Following in the steps of the vehicle of the same name, the One-77 bicycle is an ultra rare and expensive road bike made from exotic materials. A price tag isn’t readily available for the bike but one can only assume that it would be expensive as hell. Visit the official page here.

Easily the best replica of Shotaro’s bike from Akira, Masahi Teshim painstakingly built this one over the course of seven years. This replica is apparently the only bike that has the official blessing of Akira’s creator Katsuhiro Otomo, I would hope so since the owner spent nearly $120,000 on it. Masashi is currently riding the bike around Japan to raise money for children’s autism, afterwards it will be on display to help raise money for victims from last years earthquake.

When not designing crazy cars, German brand BMW lends its designing ability to computer parts manufacture Thermaltake. The last time the two worked together they created the modular Level 10 PC case, this time they created the Level 10 M gaming mouse. Pictures after the jump.

Being confined to a powered wheel chair didn’t stop this kid from fulfilling his need for drifting. With the help of some wet floors this kid barrelled through a through a long straight and drifted around a “caution wet floor” sign. Not giving a shit! Badass

In a bizarre move, Nissan has released an iPhone case coated in their magical self-healing paint. Nissan has used this paint on their vehicles since 2004 and it’s extremely practical with all the road debris people face. The iPhone case is able to repair its scratches in less than an hour but I still can’t get over how tacky the thing looks with the Juke logo and Ministry of Sound logo (WTF).

Talk about talented, watch as Jorian Ponomareff pull off some of the craziest moves I’ve ever seen on a motorbike. Although this isn’t the first time I’ve posted something about drifting bikes, this is as close as it gets to gymkhana type maneuvers. Jorian definitely has balls of steel.

On October 5th Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple passed away. Just a day after Apple announced the new iPhone. Steve Jobs was one of the few CEO’s that I followed closely, it is rare that a CEO commanded respect, intimated peers and inspired so many other businesses. If you haven’t read about Steve Jobs past I highly recommend it.

Porsche Design is no stranger when it comes to over designing goods that don’t really need designing. Keeping with tradition Porsche Design has announced that they have designed a shisha made from aluminum, stainless steel and glass. If you don’t know what a shisha is used for, it is used to smoke flavored tobacco, where the smoke is cooled down by water at the bottom of the shisha.
