Nissan’s self healing iPhone case

In a bizarre move, Nissan has released an iPhone case coated in their magical self-healing paint. Nissan has used this paint on their vehicles since 2004 and it’s extremely practical with all the road debris people face. The iPhone case is able to repair its scratches in less than an hour but I still can’t get over how tacky the thing looks with the Juke logo and Ministry of Sound logo (WTF).

Too Baller: Porsche Design Shisha

Porsche Design is no stranger when it comes to over designing goods that don’t really need designing. Keeping with tradition Porsche Design has announced that they have designed a shisha made from aluminum, stainless steel and glass. If you don’t know what a shisha is used for, it is used to smoke flavored tobacco, where the smoke is cooled down by water at the bottom of the shisha.

Prius inspired bike, mind controlled shifting

I wouldn’t have imagined myself posting anything related to the Prius on my site but this minimalistic bike was just too cool to pass over. Toyota teamed up with Saatchi & Saatchi LA, Deeplocal, Parlee Cycles to make the PXP. How this bike was influenced by the Prius is beyond me but as you can see, the bike is very sleek but doesn’t look too different from current time trial bikes.

The Norton Project

Not exactly car related but here is a heart warming story where two sons decided to restore their fathers 1969 Norton Commando from under his nose and had it fully restored from him just in time for Christmas. Luckily for us, the pair of brothers video tape the entire process from start to finish.

Trim your lawn with Lamborghini tools

Exotic manufactures such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti and Porsche are known to produce goods not related to the automotive world. While most tend to focus on goods such as clothing and computers, Lamborghini took a different route and created gardening tools. Seems like a left field move to me, but I guess it isn’t a surprise since Lamborghini originally made tractors. Lamborghini has created various tools you might need: grass trimmers, hedge trimmers and chainsaws. You might expect these products to carry a hefty price tag because of the branding but these tools are priced between 50 – 150 pounds each. Not bad. Purchase these fine tools at Tonino Lamborghini Garden Tools site.

Porsche Design P’3700 pocket knife

Porsche Design, the ultra elitist design force from – well Porsche, have teamed up with Wegner (the people who make the swiss army knife/multi tools) to create the P’3700 pocket knife. What’s different compared to typical multi tools is the contoured body shape and flat black finish. All for a hefty price of $475. Unfortunately the item is out of stock but check here to see if you can buy it.

Graphic Motorcycle Helmets

Why focus on safety when you can focus on style. Using what looks like Speed Racer’s helmet as a canvas, the designers used creative graphics such as fruits and even body parts to liven up the helmet. Pretty sure these aren’t real helmets since the graphics originated from a design agency in Kazakstan, but hey they’re still pretty cool.

RC Mario Kart toys

I came across these sweet remote controlled carts from the equally sweet Mario Kart game. The remotes indicate that the carts might be able to use power ups but from the looks of it the controls will be the only things powering up, playing sounds and flashing lights. If your looking for your favorite tracks, [...]
