After a brief break Matt Farah of Tuned returns, this time around Matt drive BBi Autosport’s first air-cooled 911 project car. Based on the classic 1980′s Porsche 911 Carrera platform, little was left stock on the vehicle as you would imagine with a mix of modern parts and older parts from different platforms.

Jay Leno gives viewers an insight on a new Porsche 911, not a new one but a 1972 Porsche 911 modified by Magnus Walker himself (if you haven’t checked out Urban Outlaw). Starting life as a 911 T Jay and Magnus give an overview of all the small touches mad to the car from its integrated signals and louvers.

There have been a ton of videos coming out lately that really capture the essence of being a car enthusiasts. The fellows from Petrolicious are back with more high quality content featuring a “Frankenstein” Porsche 911. Although the owner of the car, Jack Olsen wanted a streetable vehicle, he also wanted something he could take to the track and drive back home. While Jack’s car isn’t the prettiest there is no doubt that it’s being driven like it should be.

When I first saw the Singer 911 my jaw dropped, while it was easy to admire the beauty and craftsmanship of the vehicle I had no idea how much work goes into each Singer car. The Singer 911 is a re-imagined Porsche 911 using some of best of the best components from different 911′s and combining them into one concise package. Chris Harris drives one of these masterpieces and chats with the owner of the company to learn more about their goals when designing the car.

Meet Achim Anscheidt, the head of design for Bugatti. Achim works on some of the greatest engineered and technically advanced road cars in the world. In contrast Achim owns a minimalistic, bare-bones Porsche 911 that doesn’t even have a heater. The Drive network talks with Achim to see where he got his inspiration from for the 911 and what he thinks about its design.

A couple of months back I posted a trailer for Urban Outlaw, a film that follows Magnus Walker a rebel Porsche enthusiast whose been collecting 911′s since the day he picked up his first one. Working out of his workshop in Los Angeles, Magnus has been modifying and restoring classic Porsche cars.

Urban Outlaw is a film about Magnus Walker, a Porsche enthusiast whose goal is to own every 911 from 1964-1973. Although Magnus hasn’t been able to find a 1973 just yet he has been hard at work restoring, modifying and racing his collection.

You may have remembered MotorTrend’s last drag race, this year they held another drag race featuring a Lamborghini Aventador, Nissan GT-R Black Edition, Ford Shelby GT500, McLaren MP4-12C, Jaguar XKR-S, Porsche 911 Carrera S, Subaru BRZ, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series and Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. Obviously the BRZ is going to win but watch for yourself after the jump.

Pretty neat little desk piece that Porsche gave out to a few people invited to test out the new Porsche 911 (991). The desk piece includes several clear panels that illustrate how the iconic car has evolved through out the years.

A monster bike versus a monster car. The Ducati 1199 Panigale packs a whopping 192 horsepower in its 362 lbs body while the Porsche 911 packs 620 horsepower in its 3,075 lbs body. The video goes through a few practice runs before the two vehicles get down to business but it’s still an awesome video.
