First off I want to get this out of the way, a lot of companies have been creating promotions where they will donate a percentage of profits towards aid efforts (even if it is 100% they want their name to get around), this really rubs me the wrong way. I urge everyone who can help, donate your money on the Red Cross website instead of buying a shirt from me. I’m serious. As everyone has heard a very large earthquake hit Japan on March 11, it’s hard to imagine the scale of disaster – towns are flooded, coastal lines are battered and supplies are heavily strained. As if the last post wasn’t bad enough, The Boston Globe has posted 8 more pictures of the BP fiasco. Focusing less on the surrounding marshlands and water, and more on the wild life are affected by the spill. The pictures paint a very grim picture.

We’ve all heard about the nasty oil spill that was caused by an offshore oil rig owned by BP in the Gulf of Mexico. It’s really hard to put in to perspective the damage that has occurred because of the incident. The Boston Post has posted several pictures of some of the damages that have already occurred because of the incident on the shores of Louisiana and in the Gulf of Mexico.
