Behind the Smoke is a web series that follows Formula D champion Daijiro Yoshihara as he preps for his 2012 season in Formula D. Dai gives his new S13 drift car a shake down a week before round 1 of Formula D in Long Beach and GTChannel is there to capture the magic. Well it didn’t take long before for enthusiasts to tear a part the 86 and change it up! Dino Dalle Carbonare/Luke Huxham was able to get some footage of Manabu Orido’s freshly modded Toyota 86 at Mobarar circuit. As you can see the 86 is now powered by a V8 from a Lexus IS-F.

Being confined to a powered wheel chair didn’t stop this kid from fulfilling his need for drifting. With the help of some wet floors this kid barrelled through a through a long straight and drifted around a “caution wet floor” sign. Not giving a shit! Badass

Icon Motorosports releases the sequel to their wildly popular Motorcycle vs Car drift battle, this time Nick Brocha is back with his teammate Ernie Vigil. Watch as the two drift around High Plains County on their Triumph Speed Triples while being chased by one bad ass Mustang. EPIC!

Okay so Rhys isn’t actually stealing his Genesis coupe but it’s a sweet excuse to do crazy drifting stunts before Hyundai tears down their American headquarters. Watch Rhys Millen pull off tricks in an abandoned wear house and do donuts around a security guard eating jelly.

Usually known for creating eye catching safety gear for motorcyclists, Icon Motorsports decided to take some time off and have drift battle between two unlikely vehicles. Usually in a drift battle two cars go neck to neck sliding through corners to see who can pull off the most stylish drift. Icon decided to change things up and pitted a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10 against a Mazda RX-7 for a drift battle. I didn’t think it was possible but check out the video to see for your self.
