The Ferrari F40 was thee poster car during my child hood, I remember this car because of its boxy shape. Even after all these years the F40 is still one my favorite super cars of all time, partly because it sounds god damn amazing with its twin turbo V8. This video only proves how great this car sounds. Your ears will thank me. On a side note, have you seen a F40 with its twin popped up? No because it’s ugly as hell.

With its cylinder header measuring only 1.13 centimeters wide this engine takes the crown as the world’s smallest V12 engine. Patelo constructed the engine by hand using stainless steel, aluminum and bronze. The engine will be used for educational purposes and exhibitions.

This project car started off with a 1986 BMW 328 shell, RB26DET engine and a $4000 budget. Like most project cars, the budget wasn’t set in stone and problems arose. Luckily the owner of the car documented nearly every process of the build, spanning 147 pages. The owner started building it in 2006 and the car still get’s updated regularly. View the build here.
