You’ve probably seen this video floating around but I had to post it. Motor Trend decided to hold the greatest drag race using only the best cars in the world. The list: BMW 1M, Ford Mustang Boss 302, Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Ferrari 458, Nissan GT-R, Audi R8 GT, Mercedes-Benz SLS, Lexus LF-A, Porsche Cayman R and the Lotus Evora S. I’ve never been a fan of steering wheel peripherals on game consoles but this Ferrari 458 replica might just change my mind. Thrustmaster is planning to release the steering wheel for the XBOX 360 in October for less than $90. Hopefully the mode dial on the wheel is functional. Pictures after the jump.

I thought the leather wrapped BMW X6 was pretty bad already and I was praying that the trend wouldn’t catch on. Unfortunately the newest car to sport the wrap is a Ferrari F430! My god it’s disgusting. Pictures after the jump.

Check out this sexy motorcycle helmet that was designed by Ferrari and produced by NewMax. The helmets shell is made from thermoplastic polymer shell, aluminum, technical fabric and leather. The mix of high-end materials and unique design had me guessing the helmet would cost $1000. Surprisingly the helmet can be purchased for a mere $356. Link to the Ferrari store here.

This is not a typo, Ferrari first announced that they would be making a book that would document nearly everything about the company in late 2010. The book is now ready to be sold and comes in several “trim” levels. The 852 page juggernaut weighs close to 85 pounds and is published by Kraken Opus. Rounding up the great season, Richard takes two iconic cars out of a collectors storage space and on to the road – the Ferrari F40 and the Porsche 959. Ferrari has a reputation of being thee finest manufacture ever, producing some of most amazing vehicles both performance wise and visually. With all of the unchallenged praise for the brand you could hardly think that Ferrari was anything less then perfect. But that where Chris Harris steps in.
