There is nothing like a modern take on a legendary design. If your a fan of Mercedes vehicles then your more then likely to know about the 300SL, a powerful grand touring car that was known for it’s iconic gull wing doors. After ceasing production, Mercedes never really created a spiritual successor to the 300SL until recently, lucky me I was in the right spot at the right time. Pictures after the jump.

I’ve seen this car’s journey from start to finish while working at Garage Works of an on for 5 years and now it’s time for this car to find it’s new owner. It originally started as a champagne coloured car, but slowly it was modified with a Hamann lip and dropped on 22″ rims. This car had always been one of our focal pieces at the shop, it had most of our products installed on it and it was an eye catcher. The biggest change is when we wrapped it in flat black vinyl, the changes were jaw dropping. Instead of a tame luxury coupe with big wheels, it transformed into a menacing angel eyed coupe with big wheels. This car definitely put Garage Works on the map, but unfortunately it was time to let go – the owner has put it up for sale on Avant Garde Motorsports. Luckily I was commissioned to take the photos used on Avant Garde.

Add another car to Garage Works extensive client list, the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. Probably the first one in the city, the 599 was styled by the famous Pininfarina group. The 599 is Ferrari’s flag ship gran turismo sports car that replaced the 575 M and is powered by the same V12 in the Ferrai Enzo. Can’t wait to have a full photo shoot with this beast.

It has been awhile since I posted my last photo shoot on here. If you’ve been following my Twitter or Flickr account you would know that August has been a busy month for me, full of photo shoots and of course my Series 4 shirts.

It’s no secret that Lamborghini is one of my favorites brands, in my eyes no other car company comes close to being as bold and loud as the raging bull. This particular model, the LP640 is my dream car, so it was definitely a treat to have ridden in it during the photo shoot. One day I’ll have one… Pictures after the jump.

Garage Works brings in quite a number of wheels in, but this set was just plain ridiculous. Here’s a set of iForged Astra’s not sure on the measurements but I believe the rears are 19×12 -20 offset. I’m pretty sure this will be the biggest dish I’ll ever see in my lifetime!

Had a chance to shoot this somewhat rare car about a month ago while working at Garage Works. I’m sure it will be easy to figure out what car it is, the remaining pictures will be posted up later.

Earlier I posted a teaser for Garage Work’s new matte white IS-F, here are all the pictures from the session. Funny thing is, we were shooting pictures outside of the ware house but once I saw the inside of the empty warehouse, I knew we had to do the photo shoot there. Pictures after the jump.

While contemplating whether or not to find a part time job while some paper work was being processed for my business, I sent a text to David from Garage Works to see if he had any positions open. Luckily he had an opening for some general help and some other work (more on that later). On the first day back the Garage Works crew were headed down to the Edmonton Garrison for a press conference that we were attending, so we brought down two cars and what two great cars they were. Ferrari has always been considered the upper echelon in the automotive world, there is no denying the reputation. So when David from Garage Works gave me a ring to let me know that he was working on a Ferrari F430 and asked if I wanted to take a few pictures, I obliged. Although I have a soft spot for older boxy Ferraris (testarossa, F40, F50) the F430 is equally just as gorgeous. Click read more for the pictures.
