The Calsonic Skyline GT-R is one of the most iconic touring cars of all time. The R32, built to compete in Group A touring car series dominated most of the races it entered. Racing series Gran Turismo helped expose the Calsonic Skyline to western audiences with its blue and white livery.

We’ve all seen the kit in photos but now we have a nice little clip from Maiham Media of an infamous Bensopra kitted Nissan GT-R. Bensopra shocked the tuner scene when they first teased their GT-R kit renders online and debuted the wild kit at last years Tokyo Autosalon show.

XCAR visits Endless to see how they put their 1200 HP Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32) Together. The car retains a twin turbo set up while upping the displacement to 2.7 litres. The standard gearbox was swapped out in favor of a sequential box and completes a quarter-mile in 9 seconds flat.

Toy company Takara is back with their Alternity line of Transformer toys, this time collaborating with Super GT race series to release “updated” version of their Nissan GT-R (R35) transformer in two liveries. The two liveries just happened to be two of my favorites: the Motul scheme and the Calsonic scheme. Unfortunately there aren’t any good pictures of the toys but I did find a shop that are taking pre-orders for a whopping $115 USD + shipping. Still it beats getting a Misuoka Orochi transformer.

Last time Drive tested a Switzer they drove the 950hp E900 GT-R. While the car was amazing in its own right, there were a few disadvantages. Switzer went back to the drawing boards and improved their GT-R package to develop a whopping 1100hp on pump gas.

You may have remembered MotorTrend’s last drag race, this year they held another drag race featuring a Lamborghini Aventador, Nissan GT-R Black Edition, Ford Shelby GT500, McLaren MP4-12C, Jaguar XKR-S, Porsche 911 Carrera S, Subaru BRZ, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series and Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. Obviously the BRZ is going to win but watch for yourself after the jump.

Josh Clason from Depth of Speed makes a California to visit Eric Bauer who recently purchased a KPGC10 GT-R from JDM Legends. The car couldn’t be in better hands, Eric is a teacher at the Art Center College of Design where he helps prepare future auto designers. Like other Depth of Speed videos, Eric shares why he purchased the old Nissan.

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen anything from Depth of Speed, but it looks like Josh is back at it and gearing up his second season. In his latest video Josh visits JDM Legends yet again to spend some track time with their old school GT-R. It isn’t anything crazy but if you’re a fan of old Japanese cars, the sound alone is simply intoxicating!

Meet the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 a highly modified GT-R spec’d out to meet FIA’s GT3 regulations. The GT-R is powered by a 3.8 liter V6 twin turbo engine based on the standard road version. Apparently the vehicle was designed with customers in mind…that’s right you can actually buy one for a cool 297,000 euros.
