Check out this life like recreation of the Honda RA272, a F1 race car from the 1960′s that took home the first victory by a Japanese manufacture. Unlike sophisticated Lego cars I’ve posted before, this model focuses on the signature look of the unique vehicle. The designer did an amazing job!

With the new NSX finally coming to life, Honda has a released a 7 minute video showcasing the history of the car. When released, NSX was considered the first “exotic” Japanese car because of its mid mounted engine and low height. Although the car was powered by what some would consider an under powered engine, enthusiasts praised the stiff chassis and cornering ability of the car. Video after the jump.

Well another Super Bowl is done and another team is crying but as usual car manufactures paid big bucks to show off their newest commercials. This year Automakers took a lot of the air time, most of which were great commercials. I tuned in to watch the super bowl but was pretty sad to see that most of US commercials were replaced with boring Canadian ones. Not to fear though because most of the commercials were on Youtube anyways. If you wanna check out last years round up click here!

With a ton of “Sh*t Girls Say” parodies popping up on YouTube, it was only a matter of time before someone made “Sh*t Honda Guys Say” video. Since the Honda crowd are usually the most vocal in the import car scene, they’ve accumulated a list of hilarious sayings we have all heard before. This video contains most of the classic one liners like “I’ll take it up to 9K this time” and “my VTEC didn’t kick in”. Hope there’s a part two!

Lets face it, life is unpredictable. When things go great they can easily turn for the worse out of nowhere. In a refreshing animated commercial “The Unpredictable Life”, Honda highlights the unforeseen future that many of us experience but also let’s you know that their planning for it. Completely random but not totally off topic, I came across this promotional video about how many ninjas you can fit into a Honda Jazz (or more commonly known as the Fit). I’m sure after you’re done watching it you will be left in shock and awe like I was. Jazz packing! Thanks to the ninjas at JTYPE for the tip.

There have been a slew of great car related videos lately, it’s starting to look like the the car scene is flourishing again. Format67 is no stranger when it comes to producing great car videos, their latest works follows the journey of a NSX traveling to the famous Nurburgring. Livestock (Canadian based sneaker store) have collaborated with Ferrari and Puma to create a unique version of the Puma Mid. Using various materials like leather and suede, Puma has created 4 different styles of their Puma Mid in 3 classic Ferrari colours and one based on the Livestock x Puma Honda S2000. Livestock also had a video made by Deep See about the collaboration. I absolutely love the style and music used in the video!

Unfortunately many people who are victims of car theft rarely see their car again (at least in one piece). For one lucky teacher, not only did the cops recover her car, they found that the thief had swapped in a H22 motor with a manual transmission. From the looks of it, car looked like it was well taken care of, window visors, tint and a new set of rims. What’s even more funny is that the author of the article repeatedly deems the car drag race ready with its powerful V8 engine.

Rebadging cars is nothing new, just add the little badge and then you can pass it off as a “better car”. However, this dealership took it to the next level and incorrectly badged a Honda Civic as an SI. Rather then trying to hide it, the dealership proudly advertise the vehicle as an “SI Clone” with various decals and banners.
