Oh Lamborghini, how I love you oh so much. While many brands have focused on producing civil cars, you’ve been busy making noise with your crazy hyper cars. Lamborghini built their latest machine, the Egoista, to celebrate their 50th birthday. Gone are the traditional vertical doors, instead a jet fighter inspire cockpit is the center piece. The jet fighter inspiration can be see throughout the entire car especially in the interior design.

Bicycles are hot now, especially bicyle tie ins with high-end car manufactures. Lamborghini teams up with BMC to create a special version of the BMC Impec for Lamborghini’s 50th year anniversary. The carbon fibre bicycle sports Campagnolo’s new electronic Super Record group set and is limited to 50 units. Interested? The bike will set you back $32,500!

Lamborghini unveiled their new super car this week at the Geneva motorshow, although most people assumed it would be a crazy hyper car I don’t think many were ready for the jaw dropping styling of the Veneno. The Lamborghini Veneno is powered by a 750hp V12 (N/A it seems), priced at $4.6 million dollars and will be limited to just 3 units (white, red, green). The styling of the car reminds me of the crazy vents of the original Countache!

While many of us will never get to experience driving a Lamborghini on a nice day. Professional skier Jon Olsson loves to drive his to the ski resorts where the climate is a bit chilly. I’ll be admit I cringed a bit when he used a shovel to clear the snow off his car but I’d imagine driving that Gallardo is no easy task. Must be nice!

Looking for that last minute gift for that little racer? I found this pretty sweet Lamborghini LP670 SV toy that might be what you had in mind. Powered by an electric motor, this car is able to reach a top speed of about 2.5 kph depending on the drivers weight. The vehicle also comes with working LED headlights and horn. Perhaps a street race is in order with the BMW M3 car I posted a couple of years back?

In our younger years many of us dream of one day owning that super car on that poster. The Lamborghini Countach is one of those cars that many of us have drooled over. Outrageous, outlandish and impractical is what many would describe it as but there’s not doubting it’s presence. Petrolicious talks to James Chen, owner of Axis Wheels about his Lamborghini Countach and why he loves it so much.

I guess superheros aren’t immune to traffic laws after all, cops pulled over Batman last week for driving his Lamborghini Gallardo with no plates (well actually a Batman logo). The cops were a bit confused and worried when they saw Batman was the driver, apparently he was on his way to a children’s hospital for an appearance. Nice to see rich guys having fun!

Lamborghini recently unveiled the Aventador J, a one off roadster concept based on the stunning Aventador. Much like the Sesto Elemento the Aventador makes use of high tech composites and materials. Not only does the Aventador J lack a roof, it lacks a windshield, making it necessary to wear eye protection when trying to attempt its 300 km/hr to speed. Read up about the concept here.

Top Gear is back for their 18th season and it looks like it’s going to be one of the best seasons yet. To kick off the new season Clarkson, May and Hammond set out to find out the best alternative to the Ferrari F430.
