Malte Dorowski is one talented Lego builder who has a thing for Porsches. It was only a matter of time before a RWB car would be his next target. Based on the Fatlace’s popular Pandora One (Porsche 964), Malte recreated the sports car using an plethora of unqiue Lego parts. As with any Lego model the car’s interior and engine bay are full of detail.Read More →
A pair in Melbourne Australia have created a full-sized hot ride using nothing more than standard LEGO pieces (ok maybe those tires aren’t standard). With the LEGO piece count at somewhere over 500,000 pieces, the highlight of the car is its orbital engine that houses 256 pistons. Details about how the car works are sparse but its top speed is some where around the 30 km/h mark.Read More →
The creator of the Lego 4AGE engine is back with a Lego version of the RB26DETT. Like the 4AGE the RB26 has been recreated with working parts, the camshafts actually rotates and the turbos spool up! The video is a little boring but goes through the different components the designer was able to create.Read More →
After rounds of voting, the awesome Back to the Future Lego set I posted about earlier this year is now being released! What’s awesome about the set is that you” be able to build all three versions of the car with the kit, it also comes with minifig versions of Marty McFly and Dr. Emmet Brown. No word on if a hoverboard will be included though. Sets will be available at San Francisco Comic Con and online at Lego.com on August 1st.Read More →
Check out this creative Lego set on Cuscoo (A Kickstarter like page for Lego), featuring the cult classic time traveling DMC DeLorean. The Back to the Future Lego set features all the familiar characters from the trilogy including Marty, Doc and even the Hoverboard. definitely not as crazy as this DeLorean I posted earlier before. The Lego set is in the product development stage but will be on sale shortly. View the project here.Read More →
Lego cars aren’t anything new but creator Pawel Kmiec made an awesome Lego version of the Pagani Zonda (one of my favorite super cars). Unlike the feature heavy Lego versions of the Veyron and Porsche, this model is motorized where it counts: the wheels. Pawel is able to drive the Zonda like a typical RC car and it comes complete with working suspension and differential.Read More →
Another day another Lego model. This time we have a pretty damn impressive 1:15 scale model of the Back to the Future DMC DeLorean. Much like the Honda RA272 model, this model focuses on creating an accurate representation rather than a functional one. Looking bad ass in hover mode! Pictures after the jump.

Check out this life like recreation of the Honda RA272, a F1 race car from the 1960′s that took home the first victory by a Japanese manufacture. Unlike sophisticated Lego cars I’ve posted before, this model focuses on the signature look of the unique vehicle. The designer did an amazing job!
