Check out this creative Lego set on Cuscoo (A Kickstarter like page for Lego), featuring the cult classic time traveling DMC DeLorean. The Back to the Future Lego set features all the familiar characters from the trilogy including Marty, Doc and even the Hoverboard. definitely not as crazy as this DeLorean I posted earlier before. The Lego set is in the product development stage but will be on sale shortly. View the project here.Read More →
Lego cars aren’t anything new but creator Pawel Kmiec made an awesome Lego version of the Pagani Zonda (one of my favorite super cars). Unlike the feature heavy Lego versions of the Veyron and Porsche, this model is motorized where it counts: the wheels. Pawel is able to drive the Zonda like a typical RC car and it comes complete with working suspension and differential.Read More →
Another day another Lego model. This time we have a pretty damn impressive 1:15 scale model of the Back to the Future DMC DeLorean. Much like the Honda RA272 model, this model focuses on creating an accurate representation rather than a functional one. Looking bad ass in hover mode! Pictures after the jump.

Check out this life like recreation of the Honda RA272, a F1 race car from the 1960′s that took home the first victory by a Japanese manufacture. Unlike sophisticated Lego cars I’ve posted before, this model focuses on the signature look of the unique vehicle. The designer did an amazing job!

Remember that Veyron I posted awhile back? Yeah the crazy Lego one with a working gearbox and automated spoiler. Well Sheepo is back with his newest creation, a Porsche 911 Turbo cabriolet. Weighing in at 3.65 kgs and made out of 3500 parts, Sheepo is really pushing the limits of Lego cars. Like the Veyron, the 911 is fully functional with: steering, front/rear lights, retractable spoiler, folding top, working handbrake, disc brakes and a dual clutch gearbox. Yikes!Read More →
Following up to their awesome Ferrari Lego sets (which I happen to own one) Lego has released a set featuring the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. 1:16 in scale, the set features a staggering 700+ pieces and has a disappearing roof. Although it has the unmistakeably shape of the Gallardo, it uses quite a few stickers for the front lights, rear lights and interior parts. Maybe Lego should hire this guy to do a better job. Pictures after the jump.

When I was younger, I loved playing with Lego, it was by far my most favorite toy. Like many other kids, I would build many different things but building a car was always a favorite. What Lego mastermind Fernando made here is amazing! Not only did he build a 1:8 scale Veyron, he implemented several moving parts (roof & spoiler), 7 gear sequential transmission and steering. Pictures and a short clip after the jump.
