With the motto “Pursuit of Perfection” Lexus have poured an extraordinary amount of detail into their cars. From research and development to manufacturing, Lexus is an amazing car company. For their newest LS flagship car, Lexus gives viewers a glimpse of their 38 day process in creating their veneer steering wheel for the car.

The Lexus LF-A is one of the most important cars that Lexus has worked on in recent years. The LF-A project started in 2000 but experienced radical changes throughout its development years. Although the LF-A is expensive as hell it demonstrates that Toyota still has it in them to make a real sports car.

Chris Harris from Evo magazine reviews the brand new Lexus LF-A Nurburgring Edition on the track that inspired the car. Chris Harris seems convinced the Nurburgring edition is better than its predecessor and even surprises him. Glorious v10 engine noise!

You’ve probably seen this video floating around but I had to post it. Motor Trend decided to hold the greatest drag race using only the best cars in the world. The list: BMW 1M, Ford Mustang Boss 302, Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Ferrari 458, Nissan GT-R, Audi R8 GT, Mercedes-Benz SLS, Lexus LF-A, Porsche Cayman R and the Lotus Evora S. The Chase is a short film by ISG about a girl, a helicopter chase and a Lexus IS-F. Sounds like a good recipe to me. Obviously there isn’t a plot to the video but there are some great action sequences and the ending is gold! Video after the jump.

With every year you can always expect another Edmonton Motorshow, a car show where the dealerships bring their new cars to impress potential customers. For the most part the cars are things you would normally see on the road with an exception of a few high end cars. I didn’t really care for many of the vehicles except for the Lexus LF-A. A new collection of Lexus adverts has hit the web. The collection is titled “The Hard Way” and gives consumers a look at how Lexus cars are engineered. Although most of them aren’t all that interesting, I found the “Chain” commercial to be amazing since it was create in real life rather then with CGI. It’s also the only commercial with behinds the scenes look at how Lexus made it. In total there are 12 videos so make sure to grab a snack before sitting down to watch theses.

In mid June, you may have heard about the tragic death of Hiromu Naruse, the chief test driver of Toyota. Lexus has created a tribute video in remembrance of the test driver, highlighting his ambitions and accomplishments at the company. Unknowingly to some, Hiromu was responsible for giving feed back and helping develop nearly every single sports car that Toyota has produced. Hiromu was truly passionate about his pursuit of perfection during his time at Toyota. Video after the jump.

Sharpies were the in thing, but looks like that’s about to change after this video came out. Talented graffiti artists Bam and Vogue apply their spray painting skills on a IS350 with impressive results. Lexus has released a bunch of ads to promote their updated 2011 line up, featuring cars such as the IS and the ES. This commercial was a bit different from the pack, focusing on the extra ordinary lengths Lexus takes to develop new innovations in the automotive industry. Now that is the ultimate simulator, Gran Turismo anyone?
