Customer calls out Fountain Tire, shop owner’s wife buts in

A local forum member “SerbianEagle” decided to take his car Fountain Tire to have some summer rubber mounted on to his car. Upon picking up the vehicle he was a bit suspicious about the way the employees were acting but he thought nothing of it. It wasn’t long after he picked up the vehicle that he discovered that the car’s front bumper had been damaged when it was pulled into the shop. After failed attempts to contact the owner of the Fountain Tire, SerbianEagle took it to the local car forum 780tuners to get some advice.

Black on black LP640

I shot this car earlier in September, I went out to do another photo shoot with the LP640 roadster after we mounted these massive Klassen wheels on. This car was an absolute pleasure to shoot, the lighting was just right – casting a nice horizon. It was very difficult to shoot the car since the wheels were black and had so much dish, most of the wheel highlights were done in post production. Pictures after the jump.

A silver blade – R8

It still eludes me as to why there aren’t more R8′s in the city, it’s an astonishing looking car and is by far the most practical super car I’ve ever seen. Having seen the car in magazines and even Iron Man I was very excited to see this car in person. The shape and styling is simply stunning, it sits extremely low and although it looks extremely wide – the overall size of the car is actually not that big. The biggest surprise was sitting in the car, it simply doesn’t have the typical annoyances of a super car: shoulder checking is easy, you can see out of the rear view mirror and you don’t have to contort your body to get in the vehicle. Find out more after the jump.

The new supercar in town

Avant Garde Motorsports took delivery of this Lamborghini LP640 Roadster last week and after trying to figure out how to put together the ridiculous soft top, we quickly dismantled it and headed out for a quick photo shoot for the website. Having already shot the hard top version already, I wasn’t sure what to expect with the roadster version of the LP640. The difference: aural pleasure, the engine noise was intensified with no roof.

SLR – of the car variety

Ah the McLaren SLR, a very interesting super car from Mercedes Benz. I remember this car fondly after seeing it for the first time on Top Gear, Clarkson used it to race Hammond and May. This car is very unique compared to other super cars from the quirky front tilting hood, side exhausts and front mounted engine. I had the privilege of shooting this car for Garage Works and Avant Garde Motorsports. Pictures after the jump.

Dreamer – LP640

It has been awhile since I posted my last photo shoot on here. If you’ve been following my Twitter or Flickr account you would know that August has been a busy month for me, full of photo shoots and of course my Series 4 shirts.

It’s no secret that Lamborghini is one of my favorites brands, in my eyes no other car company comes close to being as bold and loud as the raging bull. This particular model, the LP640 is my dream car, so it was definitely a treat to have ridden in it during the photo shoot. One day I’ll have one… Pictures after the jump.

Driven 2010

If you read my blog or twitter regularly I’m sure you have heard me complaining about how boring Edmonton is 75% of the time, so as you would imagine there aren’t many car shows. Driven (formerly known as Driven To Perform) is definitely one of the more popular shows and attracts the tuner/enthusiast crowd. This years Driven was held at Mayfield Convention Center, a much more easily accessible venue but terribly lit when compared to Northlands Agricom. To be honest there wasn’t much at the show I haven’t seen before so I only stayed for roughly 30 minutes to take a few pictures, hopefully there will be something new next year. Pictures after the jump.

Center locking Gallardo Spyder

Here’s another car I shot last week for Avant Garde Motorsports. Exotic cars are hard to come by in the city so it’s always a treat to have an opportunity to shoot cars like these. I liked this particular Gallardo because it had two things that I rarely see: manual transmission and center locking IMSA wheels. Yes, center locking – one lug nut bolts the wheels to the car, how unique is that? I can’t wait to share some more pictures with everyone, more of this car after the jump.

Hardcore Cayman S

I see my fair share of interesting and unique vehicles while working at Garage Works, but this is one unique sleeper, be it a Porsche sleeper. From the outside, this Cayman S looks decently modified, but once you start to notice the details you’ll start to get suspicious. More after the jump.
