Talk about bad ass! Nintendo teamed up with West Coast Customs to build two fully functional (minus bananas and turtle shells) carts from their Mario Kart series. West Coast Customs built Mario’s cart and Luigi’s bumblebee cart for this years Los Angeles Auto Show, I also found a short video about the carts after the jump!

Famed special effects artist and popular Youtube user Freddie Wong recently released a video of what he thought Mario Kart would be like in real life. If you have watched any of Freddie’s other videos you’ll know he does some amazing post processing work – creating a very believable video of how fun it would be to fire off weapons during a go kart race. Remi jumped into his Mario costume, grabbed some bananas and went straight to the roads of France for some comedic action.
