It’s been awhile since we’ve seen anything from Depth of Speed, but it looks like Josh is back at it and gearing up his second season. In his latest video Josh visits JDM Legends yet again to spend some track time with their old school GT-R. It isn’t anything crazy but if you’re a fan of old Japanese cars, the sound alone is simply intoxicating!

VIP tuning culture originated from Japan and has slowly made its way to North America. While not nearly as popular as the JDM craze, it definitely has its fans. While only few can pull off the super slammed stance, many enthusiasts are envious of their aggressive looks. Luke from Maiham Media examines why people love VIP styled cars.

Meet the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 a highly modified GT-R spec’d out to meet FIA’s GT3 regulations. The GT-R is powered by a 3.8 liter V6 twin turbo engine based on the standard road version. Apparently the vehicle was designed with customers in mind…that’s right you can actually buy one for a cool 297,000 euros.

Matt from the The Smoking Tire couldn’t resist taking a closer look at the car that won last week’s Tuner Shootout on Drive. The winner? A 950hp Nissan GT-R, that’s double the horsepower of a stock GT-R! Matt reviews the E85 powered GT-R tuned by Switzer and he’s in for a surprise.

Nissan recently unveiled their newest concept, the DeltaWing. It was originally developed as an Indy Car but was deemed too futuristic for the series. Instead of trashing the design Nissan rebuilt the car for one of the most demanding races in the world: 24 Hours of Le Mans. The drastic look help meet Nissan’s goal of reducing the overall drag, power and weight by 50%. I still can’t believe how awesome this things looks!

TUNED (part of the DRIVE network) visit Stillen to check out their tuned Nissan 370Z. Stillen is a well-respected company that focuses on produce quality parts for Nissan vehicles. The owner Steve Millen (gives us insight on what he wanted to carry out with the vehicle.

Although they aren’t direct rivals, Chris Harris reviews the brand new 2012 BMW M5 and the 2012 Nissan GT-R. One is a sport saloon while the other one is high-tech sports coupe. Not only does Chris Harris drive both cars on the streets of UK he reviews both cars on the track in the wet. Check out the video after the jump.

After a rocky couple of years it looks like the tuning scene is starting to pick up again. In 2008 Trust filed for bankruptcy leaving the fate of the company and its US brand Greddy up in the air. Looks like things are going good because Trust/Greddy unveiled their highly tuned Nissan GT-R, fitted with the best of the best for R&D purposes.

In a bizarre move, Nissan has released an iPhone case coated in their magical self-healing paint. Nissan has used this paint on their vehicles since 2004 and it’s extremely practical with all the road debris people face. The iPhone case is able to repair its scratches in less than an hour but I still can’t get over how tacky the thing looks with the Juke logo and Ministry of Sound logo (WTF).

Its been a very long time since I’ve heard anything about the animated short called TheDriver. Chrison Studios is back with a second trailer to the series, this time the 350Z faces off against a mysterious Nissan GT-R on the streets of L.A. Hopefully the series will be released soon, I’ve been waiting anxiously ever since it was announced two years ago.
