Wrapping up the Series 6 update here are the high res photos from the photo shoot. Interestingly enough the shoot came together in less than 48 hours after confirming I would receive my products earlier then expected. The direction of the shoot was to keep it simple and switch it over to a dark background for the winter line up. For the model I decided to hire a lesser known model, Maya T, based out of Vancouver. Having already done a photo shoot once already this one went well without any glitches, we were even able to shoot a couple of products that will be released later in the year.

A 1964 Corvair van isn’t your average van, in fact you wouldn’t think that anyone would average 60,000 miles a year in one. John Jackson owns NotStock Photography, he shoots custom hot rods and bikes for a living and travels around using his trusty 1964 Corvair van.

Laurent Nivalle recently released photos from the Le Mans Classic this year, back in 2010 Laurent released photos from the same race. Just like the name suggest the Le Mans Classic hosts legendary race cars from the different eras. Don’t forget to check out Laurent’s site for more pictures including great wallpaper sized images.

Well I’ve finally got around to sorting all the photos from the shoot and edited them to my liking. Most of the photos were edited already but to save some time I rush the process to get the shots used on the product pages. I’m sure many of Dannie’s fans have waited for me to release these photos and my own fans love the photos of my clothes ;) a personal behind the scenes post will follow the next week.

I had this post sitting in my pile for a long time, unfortunately being so busy I let it slip by while I work on more important posts. Since I just finished up the Series 6 designs I decided to focus on a couple personal posts. Recently I picked up a Macbook Air to replace my really old Macbook Pro (2008). Having picked up a Mac Pro earlier in the year it seems a bit silly to buy a laptop.

We teamed up with a great car blog based in Singapore called the TheRightWrong. Instead of the usual feature Ben wanted to hire a model to rock our shirts, an obvious yes. Not only did TheRightWrong hire a hot model they also found a hot Mitsubish Lancer Evolution VI – which weren’t available in North America. Want to see the rest of the feature? Our friend Justin Fox is a busy man, even after starting sites like JDMST, APA and Cars Move Us. Justin recently opened Zen Garage, a car shop/hang out/art gallery/retail shop. An amazing idea if I do say so myself, Zen Garage has already held a number of events for the local community and already looking like a must visit spot.

While making my usual rounds on JDMST I came across these great pictures of one of my customers sporting a Deep Dish shirt, lanyard and stickers at the All Japan Day car show. AJD is a small car show that has been around for 3 years now and this year is the first time they’ve expanded to Sydney. Our friends over at THE-LOWDOWN have more coverage of the event if you want to read up!

Alright, we all know Nissan finished this car ages ago and now they finally released photos of the real deal to everyone. If you remember a few days back Nissan was building up hype for their Juke R car by slowly releasing teasers (click here if you haven’t seen them). I must say it looks pretty bad ass, Nissan even released a “special” video of the Juke R starting up. Not surprisingly it sounds exactly like the GT-R…oh well.
