Remember that Veyron I posted awhile back? Yeah the crazy Lego one with a working gearbox and automated spoiler. Well Sheepo is back with his newest creation, a Porsche 911 Turbo cabriolet. Weighing in at 3.65 kgs and made out of 3500 parts, Sheepo is really pushing the limits of Lego cars. Like the Veyron, the 911 is fully functional with: steering, front/rear lights, retractable spoiler, folding top, working handbrake, disc brakes and a dual clutch gearbox. Yikes!

A great driving experience is one where a car stimulates your senses. It could be the striking looks, responsiveness of the steering wheel or the low grumble of the exhaust note. There’s no denying that higher end vehicles like Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche focuses on these characteristics in order to create the ultimate driving machines. The Porsche Museum hosted an event called Sound Night where visitors can experience the sound of many Porsche vehicles.

Rounding up the great season, Richard takes two iconic cars out of a collectors storage space and on to the road – the Ferrari F40 and the Porsche 959. In typical fashion, Jeremy competes in a crazy challenge – this time a Jaguar XJL against the sun. James drives the most expensive vehicle ever on Top Gear, the NASA Space Exploration Vehicle.

Singer Vehicle Design is a small company that takes pre-1994 Porsche bodies and rebuilds them to OEM standards. Not only are the cars rebuilt from the ground up, they can also be customized with options to fit the customers needs. Being my all time favorite generation of the 911, these pictures not only capture the beauty of classic 911 shapes but also highlight Singer’s amazing attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Everyone’s favorite Top Gear hosts are back for one more episode of the season. The three head down to the United States taking a cross country tour in three high powered super cars: Mercedes Benz SLS, Ferrari 458 and the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Porsche is no stranger to great design, so when they refreshed their museum we all knew it would be future thinking. Situated in Stuttgart, Germany – the museum offers 5600 square meters of display area and features many of Porsche’s iconic cars. Plans for the new museum started in 2003 and features only the best architecture, media and typographic design. Pictures after the jump.

I know I know, this video’s been making its rounds around the blogs and I’ve been a bit slacker-ish lately with the blog posts. Still I gotta post this video up because everything Will Roegge touches is gold. The video documents Jeff Zwart’s amazing run on the vomit inducing Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in a Porsche 911 GT3. How many times have you seen a Porsche run Pikes Peak?! Yeah pretty much never so check out the video.

Season 15 is starting to shape up to be an epic season. In this weeks episode Clarkson compares two super car convertibles and the boys are challenged to build motor homes and of course putting them through various challenges. As always you can download the torrent from FinalGear.
