XCAR checks out Revolution, a shop in a UK to check out their project STi. At first glance it looks like any normal Impreza but you’ll notice that it only has 2 doors and much wider then a standard Impreza. The project was created to celebrate Revolution’s 15 years anniversary, with the final of goal of being fastest Subaru around the Nurburging. Tommi Makinen set the original record back in 2010 for Subaru Japan in a Subaru STi Spec C.

XCAR visits Bee Racing to check out their newest creation, a Subaru BRZ modified to sport the popular Rocket Bunny kit we’ve seen on many 86′s. Kiyonori Imai the owner of Bee R gives viewers a run down on the changes that went into the car and his thoughts on the new platform.

You may have remembered MotorTrend’s last drag race, this year they held another drag race featuring a Lamborghini Aventador, Nissan GT-R Black Edition, Ford Shelby GT500, McLaren MP4-12C, Jaguar XKR-S, Porsche 911 Carrera S, Subaru BRZ, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series and Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. Obviously the BRZ is going to win but watch for yourself after the jump.

Car enthusiasts are drooling all over of the sports car goodness the new Subaru BRZ possesses. Subaru of Canada release a simple ad that shows just how hot the new car is. The tag line? Designed to ignite.

Chris Harris travels all the way to Italy for a chance to test out Pirelli’s P7 Corsa Classic, but unlike his other videos this time he’s sitting shotgun. As part of a launch event for the Pirelli P7 Corsa Classic tires, Chris gets to sit in as a passenger with former rally driver Markku Alen and World Rally Champion Juha Kankkunen.

Subaru has released a 7 minute video explaining their thoughts and execution behind the new BRZ. Honestly I’m a sucker for this kind of video, I love behind the scene videos especially when it involves Japanese car companies. Are we about to see a new era in Japanese sports cars?

The Subaru STI in my mind is the perfect car for Alberta winters, four-wheel drive, good set of winters and a turbo. I can only imagine how amazing it is ripping through flash winter storms. I’m sure that’s what this customer thought as well when he/she decided to take out the car for a test drive. Unfortunately the newly hired sales associate forgot to check in with management to make sure it would be okay to take the car out. Remember that dream equation? Four wheel drive, winter tires and a turbo. One of those were missing from the equation and the test drive didn’t turn out to well. Pictures of the carnage after the jump.

Sure didn’t take long to prep a race ready version of their newly unveiled BRZ. Looks like the BRZ will be a real force to be reckoned with, Subaru is planning to enter the BRZ into the Super GT (GT300 class of course). Sounds amazing!

Both Scion and Subaru announced their long-awaited 86 variants to the public this past week. As expected the changes are hardly different from the 86 but I expect that Subaru is already finishing up plans on a STi version of their car.

Even after hitting the mother load of information about the upcoming FR-S /FT-86, more information leaked about the car. FT86Club leaked out several pages detailing the exact specifications and key features of the car. Interestingly a full list of TRD parts that will be available for the FR-S / FT-86 were also leaked out.
