Top Gear is back for their 18th season and it looks like it’s going to be one of the best seasons yet. To kick off the new season Clarkson, May and Hammond set out to find out the best alternative to the Ferrari F430. The three hosts set off across Italy in a McLaren MP4-12C, Lamborghini Aventador and a Noble M600. Download the episode from FinalGear here.

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted something Top Gear related (heck I forgot to post an entire season) but the boys are back at it again. Their latest special has Clarkson, Hammond and May embark on a trade mission in India, one of the most densely populated countries in the world. Cars have always played an important role on the big screen, sometimes stealing the limelight. Celebrating automobile stardom, James May and Richard Hammond filmed a special DVD packed full of recreations of memorable stunts, races and feats. The team behind Forza 4 released a short promo video title “Endangered Species” which describes the not so distant future of sports cars. What makes the video a hundred times better is that Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear narrates the video.

Rounding up the great season, Richard takes two iconic cars out of a collectors storage space and on to the road – the Ferrari F40 and the Porsche 959. In typical fashion, Jeremy competes in a crazy challenge – this time a Jaguar XJL against the sun. James drives the most expensive vehicle ever on Top Gear, the NASA Space Exploration Vehicle.

In this episode, the Top Gear crew come up with an ingenious solution to convert combine harvesters into a snow plows at a flick of a switch. Clarkson drives the newest revision of the BMW M3, with the competition package. Not to be biased Clarkson then drives the Audi RS5 and see how it compares to the M3. Another great episode by Top Gear! This episode the hosts compete in a number of challenges in their four seater convertible of choice. Last week’s episode of Top Gear was one of my favorites, most of show is spent following the crew around in Albania but also spends some time giving us an overview of three hot hatchbacks.
