Hitting 100 mph isn’t an easy feat for some cars but this little RC car is capable of just that. Traxxas makes the electric XO-1 and comes fully assembled right out of the box. Unfortunately it costs $1,100 and requires the use of an iPod or iPhone to unlock its top speed. It’s embarrassing to think this RC is more capable than half of the cars I see on Edmonton’s streets.

Apparently Robert wanted a Lamborghini Aventador but didn’t want the real deal so he spent 500 hours slaving over a 1/8th scale version. Unlike other modelers, Robert used nearly $2.7 million dollars worth of exotic materials and jewels. What the hell?

The ultra cool and ultra hip Volkswagen T1 camper van still enjoys a popular following since its introduction in 1962. Lego will be releasing a detailed model of the iconic van on October 1st this year. If you think the outside is impressive, wait till you see the inside.

Your prayers have been answered! Fans of both Transformers and the Misuoka Orochi can now get their very own…Misuoka Orochi Transformer toy. Although I love transformers, I’m scratching my head right now wondering if there is really a demand for this thing.

Remember that Veyron I posted awhile back? Yeah the crazy Lego one with a working gearbox and automated spoiler. Well Sheepo is back with his newest creation, a Porsche 911 Turbo cabriolet. Weighing in at 3.65 kgs and made out of 3500 parts, Sheepo is really pushing the limits of Lego cars. Like the Veyron, the 911 is fully functional with: steering, front/rear lights, retractable spoiler, folding top, working handbrake, disc brakes and a dual clutch gearbox. Yikes!

RC drifting never seemed to gain to much popularity here in North America, to me it seemed like a very expensive hobby. Too bad since RC drift cars are highly tuned compared to their full sized counter parts. Here’s a sweet RC drift video I saw hailing from South Korea. Gotta admit I laughed pretty hard when those action figures come into frame. Video after the jump.

Now even your kids can have their own BMW with this M3 GT2 toy car. Unlike the real thing, this version can be powered by a pedal or an electric motor. Don’t expect too much speed from the latter, as the top speed is a measly 2.5 km/h. Bigger picture after the jump.

I’m surprised it took me this long to purchase one of these, but lately I have been considering picking up an entry level DSLR for my business. After several failed attempts at meeting people on Kijiji I decided to stop by a local store to pick up a Nikon D3000, hopefully this purchase will help me provide some original content for you guys.
