Ferrari F40 engine on Bring a Trailer
While most will search for an LS1 or 2JZ for your RX-7 project, how about a twin turbo V8 engine from the Ferrari F40? One user listed the engine on the popular website Bring a Trailer, which was reportedly built for an exhibit at New York’s Museum of Modern Art. The engine was then used a spare parts engine and will be shipped dismantle with a variety of parts. As you can imagine the engine is very rare with a very limited number in existence – especially as a spare engine. At the time of posting the auction closed at a winning bid of $88,040 USD.
