Self-drifting DeLorean: MARTYkhana
We’ve seen self-driving cars racing through tracks but this is the first time I’ve seen a self-drifting car. A team of engineers from Standford set out to instruct a driverless DeLorean to drift through a 1-kilometer long course. Dubbed MARTY, the 1981 DeLorean uses an electronic drive train and modified heavily to allow for autonomous control.
