Sabine Schmitz passes away
Famed racing driver Sabine Schmitz passed away on March 16th 2021 from her battle with cancer. Sabine gained notable fame when she appeared on the hit tv show Top Gear where she challenged Jeremy Clarkson’s lap time on the Nurburgring. Prior to that, she participated in many races including the 24 hours Nurburgring. Sabine also gained notable attention prior to her tv appearance for her driving the ring taxis, with a tally of more than 20,000 laps!
