Father of the Mazda Rotary, Kenichi Yamamoto passes
The mastermind behind many of Mazda’s popular car has died at the age of 95. Kenichi’s humble beginning started in one Mazda’s brands where he help work engines for trucks. From there he helped build some of Mazda’s key cars like the Cosmo, RX-7 and the Miata. Read up about Kenichi’s past here and here.
