2020 Toyota Supra

2020 Toyota Supra

Much like the Honda NSX, Toyota took their time to create the successor to their halo car the Supra. Initially teased as the FT-1, the car is highly anticipated although some would argue that its partnership with BMW is concerning. Nevertheless, I’m happy to see another Japanese sports car, especially that adds another notch to a long-running model. In terms of specs, the fifth generation Supra is very much like the fourth generation. The car maintains an FR configuration by loses any option for a manual transmission for now. Two powerplants will be available, a BMW B58 inline six with a single turbo and a BMW inline four with a single turbo. Apparently, the inline four was intended for those who wanted to easily swap in a 2JZ powerplant.
