Designer of the Datsun 240Z Yoshihiko Matsuo passes
Yoshihiko Matsuo help develop one of the most influential Japanese sports cars and help put Nissan on the map – passed away earlier this week. Matsuo worked on several cars but he is most well known for the Datsun 240Z or Nissan Fairlady Z. After successfully rescuing the Bluebird from slumping sales, he spent his free time to design a GT car which ultimately became the 240Z.
