First introduced in 1990 as the successor to the CA18 the SR20DET is an inline 4 cylinder engine by Nissan. The Silvia family used the engine extensively starting with the RPS13 180SX and up to the S15 Silvia. The engine never made it to North America but became a popular swap choice because of its weight and aftermarket support.
